CCC Volleyball Teams Earn Academic Award

Congratulations to the Clearwater Central Catholic High School girls volleyball team for earning the 2024 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, (sponsored by INTENT)!

A record number of volleyball programs earned the AVCA Team Academic Award, by maintaining a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale), indicating the team's commitment to classroom excellence during the recently-completed academic year.

There were 507 total indoor high school girls teams awarded in the country and only 14 teams in Florida. For beach there were only 10 total teams in the country and only 2 in Florida.

CCC's Indoor Volleyball team maintained a GPA of 3.71 (or 4.42 weighted) and the Beach Volleyball team earned a 3.73 GPA (or 4.35 weighted) for the 2023-2024 academic year. These girls truly inspire excellence both on the court and in the classroom! We are very proud of you, Marauders.
