Clearwater Central Catholic High School's Administration

 

 John A. Venturella, Ed.D — affectionately known as “Dr. V” to the students — has been a Catholic educator since 1979. During his career he has taught in both elementary and secondary schools, having served as campus minister, teacher, department chairperson, guidance counselor, assistant principal, principal and president in Catholic schools throughout the country. 

Dr. Venturella has taught Ethics, Old Testament, New Testament, and World Religions at the undergraduate level. He’s also taught graduate and doctoral level courses in education as part of his commitment to prepare future school leaders. Presently, he serves as an executive coach for graduate students in the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Venturella has pursued and obtained multiple advanced degrees and certificates. He’s studied abroad in France, Italy and Mexico and has traveled extensively.

Dr. Venturella was an elected member to the Executive Committee of the National Catholic Education Association Secondary Schools Department. He’s been actively involved in Leadership Pinellas and has served on The Sisters of Notre Dame National Educational Board. Dr. Venturella was appointed President of Clearwater Central Catholic High School in July 2005.

Mr. James W. Deputy has been an educator since 1991. During his career, he has taught both middle and secondary school, serving as an English teacher, drama director, Dean of Students, and Principal.

 

Mr. Deputy was appointed Principal of Clearwater Central Catholic High School in May 2007.

 

 

Mr. Enrique Garza has been an educator since 1998. During his career in Catholic education, he has worked in elementary, middle and secondary schools in both Mexico and the United States. In addition to his current position as Assistant Principal, Mr. Garza has been a teacher, campus minister, school counselor, Director of School Counseling, and Director of Curriculum Management.

 

Mr. Garza first joined CCC in 2009.
