Summer Accelerated Reading Program

Monday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 8, 2010
9:00 am till 3:00 pm

International Educational Experience

Vatican University in Rome

In the ongoing partnership with St. Petersburg College (SPC) Dual Enrollment Program, Clearwater Central Catholic High School is developing an international studies abroad experience that will kick off this summer at SPC and the Vatican University in Rome. This is a five-week summer program that includes a ten-day excursion to one of the most historic and beautiful cities in the world—Rome. Students will receive dual enrollment credit for this course.

Students will explore the following areas:

The Vatican, Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel

The Coliseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Foundation

The Spanish Steps & Tivoli Gardens

Major basilicas & museums

It is anticipated that students will depart for Rome on June 25, 2010. To participate, eligible students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in good standing at CCC.
