Department Highlights
- Video production classes utilize Windows and Mac computers for editing content and adding artistic expression.
- Students have an opportunity to use critical thinking skills and creativity in the study of art and art production.
- World culture becomes fascinating through art.
- Students successfully compete for art awards and scholarships at local, regional and national levels.
- Theater, and music teachers are experienced and well qualified in their fields.
- Formal and informal performance opportunities are available throughout the year, including Homecoming skits, Air Band, Liturgy and National Library Week.
- There is a chartered Thespian Society on campus. This is an Honor Society.
- Students successfully participate in Drama competitions at local, state and national competitions and/or workshops.
- The CCCHS Chapter of the National Art Honor Society was recognized at the National Art Educational Association program for recognition of excellence.
