John A. Venturella, Ed.D
President
John A. Venturella, Ed.D. has been an educator for the past 27 years. During his career he has taught both elementary and secondary school and has served as campus minister, guidance counselor, dean of students, principal and president in a number of Marist schools around the country. Dr. Venturella was appointed president of Clearwater Central Catholic High School in July 2005.
Dr. Venturella holds the following degrees: Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, Nova Southeastern University; Doctor of Ministry, The Graduate Theological Foundation; Master of Science in Religion & Religious Education, Fordham University; Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministries, Saint Thomas University; Bachelor of Arts in Spanish/Education, St. John’s University.

Mr. James W. Deputy
Principal
Mr. James W. Deputy has been an educator for the past 15 years. During his career he has taught both middle and secondary school and has served as an English teacher, drama director, dean of students, and principal. Mr. Deputy was appointed principal of Clearwater Central Catholic High School in May 2007.
Mr. Deputy holds the following degrees: Master of Education, University of South Florida; Bachelor of Science in English Education, Florida State University. Mr. Deputy’s graduate studies include a Principal certification from the University of Notre Dame. He was a member of the 5th class of the Alliance for Catholic Education Leadership Program (ACE).

Mrs. Rita M. Torres
Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs
Mrs. Rita M. Torres was recoginzed in 2006 as the recipient of the 1st Annual Principal's Excellence Award. She came to Clearwater Central Catholic High School in August of 1972. Mrs. Torres has served as English teacher, Journalism teacher, Yearbook Moderator, Cheerleading coach, and English Department Chair. In 1995, she was named Dean of Student Affairs beginning her career in administration. In 1999, she was named Dean of Academics.
Mrs. Torres earned a Bachelor's degree in English Education from Bowling Green State University of Ohio; a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in English from the University of South Florida; and completed a certification program in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida and is Florida state certified in Educational Leadership.

Mrs. Ann Marie Kohutek
Assistant Principal for Student Affairs
Mrs. Ann Marie Kohutek is now in her fifth year at CCCHS. She has previously served as Director of Guidance at CCC and Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth Texas. Ann Marie has been involved for the last fifteen years in the field of education in elementary, high school and at the college level.
Mrs. Kohutek received her Bachelors of Arts from Yale University and a Masters of Science from Texas A & M University. She is working on a second master’s degree in Catholic Educational Leadership at Barry University. She is a part of the Project Rice Program (Revitalizing Catholic Identity in Catholic Education). She is married and has two children in college.
