PI Day 2008

In an effort to raise funds for the school’s Lenten project in support of Pinellas Hope, the Math Honor Society hosted the annual Pi Day contest. Usually held on Pi Day, 3.14, this year’s event was held on March 12 to accommodate the school schedule. The project encourages students to create pies incorporating a Pi/3.14 theme. Enormously popular with students and faculty, the competition garnered more than 70 Pi entries and raised approximately $650 for Pinellas Hope.
