CONSTITUTION

Governing Body:

             Advisor
             Officers

President:

• 1 year elected position
• Should be a past member
• Should call meetings, plan and implement activities

Vice President

• 1 year elected position
• Should be a past member
• Should assist the president in planning and implementing activities
• Should preside over meetings when the president is unable

Secretary

• 1 year elected position
• Should be a past member
• Should record minutes at all meetings, send out notices of meetings, keep a folder of all materials for the year.

Treasurer

• 1 year elected position
• Should be a past member
• Should collect all money for dues and activities
• Should deposit money with bookkeeping

Election of Officers

• A meeting will be held in September.   Candidates will indicate whether they are interested in running for office.
• Candidates will be given a copy of the duties and responsibilities of the office they wish to hold.
• Ballots with candidate names will be distributed at the second meeting.

Revocation of Officers' Positions

• Officers who fail to fulfill their prescribed duties, will be asked to step down.

Membership

• All CCCHS students are eligible
• All students must pay annual dues which will be established at a meeting
• All students must attend meetings on a regular basis to participate in field trips or after school activities.

Active Membership

• Students will be counted as active members only if they attend more than half the meetings
