Office of Advancement

The Office of Advancement is primarily responsible for organizing and directing the multiple fundraising initiatives, alumni activities, school communications and parent service programs in support of the school’s mission. The office works closely with the administration and faculty to ensure that students’ needs, inside and outside the classroom, are continuously met.

Fundraising efforts  coordinated by the Office of Advancement include the Central Catholic Fund, the Cost of Education Partnership (COEP), Marauder Scholarship Fund, major gifts programs, and special events including Marauder Fest (annual auction event) and the annual CCC Golf Classic.   Funds raised support the school’s operating budget, special academic, athletic and extra-curricular needs, and scholarships for students who might not otherwise be able to afford a Catholic education.

The Office of Advancement organizes and facilitates alumni activities throughout the year including the annual Alumni Reunion Weekend, the Alumni Homecoming Tailgate Party and the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.   In addition, occasional alumni special events are coordinated through the Office of Advancement such as a reunion of the 1986 State Champion Boys Basketball team and a tour of the U.S.S. Carney captained by CCC alumni Carl Cramb ’77.  Future activities being planned include Lettermen reunions and alumni chapters throughout the United States.

Responsible for constituent communications on behalf of the school, the Office of Advancement produces Tolle Lege magazine twice a year and distributes electronic newsletters and messages to the CCC community including parents, prospective students and alumni.   Advancement also maintains the school’s web site and online communities for parents/students and alumni. Communications efforts also include public relations, advertising and marketing initiatives.

Parent Service programs are an integral part of the success of many activities and special events at CCC.  Coordinated by the Office of Advancement’s Parent Involvement Coordinator, parent volunteers play key roles in school hospitality activities and special event planning and implementation.  Parents also act as ambassadors of the school throughout the community.

Whether you support CCC through the volunteering of time and talent, the Central Catholic Fund, a major gift or other planned giving option, your gift is greatly appreciated.    It is because of our benefactors that we are able to continue our mission to use our “Minds forTruth, Hearts for Love, and Hands for Service.”
