James Steffens sworn in as New Port Richey Police Chief

On Tuesday, December 6, CCC Alumnus James Steffens 86' was sworn in as police chief for the City of New Port Richey, Florida. Hired in May 2011 as a Lieutenant for the New Port Richey Police Department, James became acting interim Chief in October. Prior to his service with the NPRPD James retired from the Clearwater Police Department - Swat Team in January 2009 after 20 years of service.

Alumnus Pat Siracusa 86', Pinellas - Pasco Circuit Court Judge, had the honor and pleasure of swearing in his friend and former classmate.
