CCC Advisors Club Beautify
The CCC Advisors Club just completed their annual project of beautifing the Mary statue with flowers and general clean-up.
“Let no one have contempt for your youth, but set an example for those who believe in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.”
CCC Advisors Club was reestablished for a second time at Clearwater Central Catholic High School (CCC) only two years ago. Upon the club’s first meeting, 12 students were in attendance. Since then, the Teen Advisors Club has evolved considerably to a now current member count of 46. This group of students meet weekly in order to accomplish what it is that the CCC Advisors Club stands for: fulfillment of duty and development of friendship. CCC Advisors are involved in many service projects both in and outside of the
school community. CCC Advisors actively participate in many nationally acclaimed charity events such as Raising Hope, Paint Your Heart Out, Relay for Life, and Race for the Cure. In addition, the CCC Advisors organize trips to the St. Vincent De Paul Soup Kitchen and often host bake sales within CCC of which all proceeds are directly donated to specific benefit organizations.
CCC Advisors Club has also been featured in the newspaper in just recent months for conducting the beautification process of a prominent statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary located centrally in the school court yard. CCC Advisors’ many fantastic contributions to CCC have earned their club a prestigious reputation and have further stimulated an increase of support. The members of the CCC Advisors Club work to create a more welcoming atmosphere of solidarity in CCC and strive to live as individuals according to their mission statement.
As the member of CCC Advisors Club, we do hereby commit to God, to ourselves, to our fellow teen advisors, and to the CCC community that we will remain totally drug-free, alcohol-free, and remain pure until marriage. We further understand that as part of our commitment we have to live an exemplary life. We will be positive role models, modeling ourselves after the Holy Family and following the example of 1 Timothy 4:12, which reads, “Let no one have contempt for your youth, but set an example for those who believe in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.”
