Academic Team

The CCC Academic Team (A-Team) is a group of talented and energetic students who enjoy participating in Academic competitions. Top students on the Junior and Senior levels are invited to join the A-Team and participate in a number of on-line and in-person competitions throughout the school year. Members of the team are expected to take part in a majority of the on-line competitions, where we compete against other high school students from around the country
on a weekly basis.
In addition, a select group of A-Team members will travel to Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando to take part in a statewide competition in November 2011. CCC came in second last year in this grueling day-long competition.
The A-Team also sponsors the annual CCC Middle School Academic Competition held in the spring each year. Partner schools send teams of 7th and 8th grade students to participate in a day-long academic competition at CCC. The A-Team organizes and hosts this event and all A-Team members take part in preparing for and hosting this exciting day. This year we will host our 10th annual tournament on March 20, 2012.
