GIRLS LOCKER ROOM FACILITIES
Built in 1965, the current girls locker room facility was constructed at a time when the school had no competitive girls sports teams and just three athletic clubs for girls—cheerleading/pep, swimming, and tennis. Since then, CCC has built a highly competitive and well-respected girls athletic program with 12 teams—basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, lacrosse, beach volleyball, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball—serving nearly three-fourths of our female students.
To meet the needs of our female athletes, renovation of the center section of the existing Athletic Building (referred to as the 600 Building) will begin in late November 2022. This renovation will create girls locker room facilities for sports teams and physical education classes, classroom and meeting spaces, shared offices, and equipment storage. Additionally, the building’s entire roof and HVAC system will be replaced. Learn more.
