The CCC community is blessed by the dedication and commitment to service that junior Michelle Weber and sophomore Max Brames embody. When they were notified that the Tampa Bay XOut Cancer 5K had been cancelled due to COVID, they were compelled to organize an event for the CCC community in memory of Jackson Abernathy ’23. In a matter of weeks, they registered 100 CCC students, parents, faculty, and staff as runners/walkers and led dozens of volunteers in hosting a very successful race on the school’s cross country course. Michelle and Max are true inspirations to the entire Marauder community.
