CCC Names Chris Harvey Head Football Coach

Chris Harvey, a 2004 graduate and former player at the University of Miami, has been named Clearwater Central Catholic High School’s new head football coach. Harvey will succeed John Davis, who announced his retirement after a 34-year coaching career.

Coach Harvey has been coaching for 11 years, 10 of the years in the collegiate ranks.

“We are excited to announce that Chris Harvey has been named the next football coach at Clearwater Central Catholic High School. Chris has 11 years of coaching experience and is currently teaching and coaching at CCC”.

As a player for the Hurricanes, Chris’s teams combined for a 46-4 record under head coaches Butch Davis and Larry Coker. In 2002 he was a member of the National Championship Miami team when they defeated University of Nebraska in the Rose Bowl.

Chris and his wife Lavana are proud parents of two daughters, Brianna (7) and Bailey (4).
