Our Gala event “Defying Gravity, Dreams Take Flight” this past Saturday was a huge success and a complete sell out!
Record dollars were raised – $80,000+ for raffle, and $106,000 for financial assistance. These numbers are truly astonishing and by far the highest we have ever had at CCC!
The Gala produced more sponsors than ever before, an anonymous match for $25,000 from dear and devoted friends of CCC, $5,000 matches, a truly unique venue, and 78 parent and student volunteers. Other highlights included a second year for mobile bidding and a first year for paperless iPad check-out! All in all, it was fantastic and truly “defied gravity.”
