In 2020, Coach John Counts took over the CCC softball program, having come off back to back state championships as an assistant coach at Academy at the Lakes in Land O Lakes, FL. He has additional coaching credentials at Northside Christian. Coach Counts is assisted by Johnny Gish, a prominent Pinellas County softball coach and Jordyn Counts, who played at Ave Maria University and Northside Christian.
