For Transfer Students, there is a one-time cost associated with our Educational Resources Program in addition to the annual fee:
+ $200 (Sophomore transfers)
+ $400 (Junior transfers)
+ $600 (Senior transfers)
The school retains ownership of the iPad until the student graduates, at which point the iPad (and all apps and textbooks) is released to the student. In the event the student leaves CCC prior to graduation, there will be a one-time fee to complete the total due for the Educational Resources Program. The amount varies depending upon when student withdraws.
- An initial student ID lanyard is provided to each student. Lanyard replacement fee is $10. The student can pay for this immediately. If lanyard fees go unpaid, they will be billed to your FACTS account.
- Parking permit for licensed student drivers is $50 (annual).
- Classes, athletic teams, and student clubs may have materials, dues, or other expenses throughout the year depending on the activities your student participates in.
- Late Fee of $75 and Return Check Fee of $50 will be assessed when appropriate.
*Affiliated Families are practicing Catholics and are registered in a Catholic parish in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
Tuition Assistance Information 2020-2021
IMPORTANT – There is no scholarship offered that will cover 100% of the school tuition and fees.
Tuition at Clearwater Central Catholic High School continues to be an excellent value. For some, we realize that it may put a strain on your family budget. We encourage any family desiring financial assistance in providing for a Catholic school education to their child to apply through FACTS. Our Tuition Assistance Program is income-based and open to all families by completing a FACTS application. All families (new and returning students) must apply with FACTS Financial Management https://online.factsmgt.com/aid each year. The FACTS application fee for the 2021-22 school year is $35.00. Your application must be completed and submitted no later than March 31, 2021 and ALL required documents uploaded to FACTS no later than April 15, 2021.
State Scholarship Opportunities: A family may NOT accept a scholarship from more than one state voucher or other Tax Credit Scholarship program for the same time period.
•Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (Income-based scholarship): This program is available to all Florida residents who have children in grades 2-12 and meet the maximum income requirements. These requirements vary from year to year and can be found on the internet. Florida Tax Credit Scholarship is awarded annually from $7,111 to $6,545 to eligible students entering eligible grade levels from eligible households to help then attend an eligible private school of their choice. Renewal families no longer need to re-apply, however families not currently receiving this scholarship must apply. •Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES): FES Scholarship is Florida’s first voucher program for low- and middle-income students. FES is awarded annually up to $6,545 to eligible students entering eligible grade levels from eligible households to help them attend an eligible private school of their choice, currently attending a public school. Renewal families do not need to re-apply, however families not currently receiving this scholarship must apply. •Gardiner Scholarship Program provides eligible students a scholarship that can be used to purchase approved services or products in order to design a customized educational program for the student. Scholarships can be used for specialized services such as speech or occupational therapy, instructional materials, tuition at an eligible private school, contributions to a college prepaid account and more. •McKay Scholarship: The McKay Scholarship is available to all students currently in the Florida Public School system OR currently receiving the McKay Scholarship with a qualified IEP or 504 Plan for specific learning differences.
Other Resources for Financial Aid:
•Catholic Perishers: Parents who are active members in good standing in one of our Catholic parishes may see if financial assistance is available through their parish. Families who wish to be considered for tuition assistance from their parish must submit the completed Financial Assistance Application 2021-2022 to the Finance Office by April 30, 2021.
•Catholic School Tuition Assistance Grant (CSTAG): All Catholic families that have applied and completed the FACTS application will automatically be considered by CSTAG, if their application has been verified by FACTS and shows financial need.
•Mary C. Forbes Foundation (MCF): MCF is a private foundation and offers assistance to active practitioners of the Roman Catholic Faith. This scholarship award is based significantly on financial need. Applications are available online at marycforbesfoundation.com sometime after the first of the year and are typically due March 31. Please check their website for the application and deadlines.
•Weinhausen Scholarship: This scholarship is available for need-based practicing Catholics of St. Ignatius Catholic Church only. Please contact the St. Ignatius parish office for guidelines and information. The deadline is March 31, 2021.
•Jim White Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is available to students attending or planning to attend Clearwater Central Catholic High School who are from a practicing Catholic family and have been verified by FACTS to have a financial aid need.
