CCC provides a rigorous curriculum with athletics and extra-curricular activities in a spiritually enriching environment.
At CCC, you will have opportunities to learn, grow, and explore amidst a supportive and distinguished faculty. From the moment you walk through our doors, you will find a welcoming environment full of possibility and the exhilarating challenge of sculpting your own path into the future. Whatever path you may choose, it will belong to nobody but you. Welcome to CCC!
Clearwater Central Catholic High School is a Diocesan High School that integrates Gospel values with a challenging academic and co-curricular program. Our students are given great opportunities, and we are proud to see them excel in all areas of life! Our students have a variety of academic choices, from the IB Program to AP and honors level classes. We are also the only private school in the Bay Area to offer the International Baccalaureate Program.
We aim to teach our students how to be successful and how to excel with the gifts that God has given them. Our School Counseling Program works with students to find what they are interested in, and how they can use those interests to achieve their maximum potential of academic success. We look at what college majors will allow them to follow their prospective career options, and research colleges that offer such majors. All the while, we work to instill a deep faith and love of service within them that will help them succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Prospective 9th Grade Students
Long before your child decides their college major, they plan to attend CCCHS. All prospective students must submit an on-line application, as well as a non-refundable application fee; parents and students should fill this out together. Make sure you remember your login and password, as you will need it later. When you fill out the application, you will also register your child for the entrance exam. Please keep in mind that completing an application is not a guaranteed acceptance to CCCHS. Acceptance letters will be mailed out in late January 2019. You will receive email correspondence regarding iPads.
Prior to acceptance, all prospective students entering 9th grade will need to take an entrance exam. CCC will be administering the High School Placement Test (HSPT). The entrance exam dates for the 2019-20 school year are Saturday, November 3rd 2018 and Saturday, December 1st 2018 from 8:00am-11:30am. If you were unable to attend the above test dates, please contact the Admissions Office at 727-531-1449, Ext. 304.
Once a student receives an official acceptance letter, parents will need to complete an on-line enrollment contract as well as a tuition agreement form with our tuition provider, FACTS. If your son/daughter will be participating in sports at CCC, you will need to complete the FHSAA Sports Physical Form, and Consent & Release Liability Certificate by downloading from our website.
Get to Know Our Campus!
Clearwater Central Catholic High School is proud to offer our “Marauder for a Day” Shadow Program, which begins in September 2018. Aimed at 8th grade and transfer students, this program allows students to experience what a day at CCCHS is like! They will be paired up with a currently-enrolled student, attend a few classes with them, enjoy a complimentary lunch in our cafeteria, and learn what makes being a Marauder so great.
Our tours, given Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., allow you to visit and explore our beautiful campus. We are immensely proud of our faculty and students, and would be happy to share what life is like at CCCHS with you!
During our Discover CCC events, we offer both day and evening tours. The daytime tours are given by student ambassadors. Students will be able to observe classes, as well as meet administrators and teachers. These tours are open to parents and future Marauders.
Dates: Tuesday, November 13, 2018- 9:00am-11:00am
Tuesday, January 15, 2019 – 9:00am-11:00am
Our Discover CCC Evening “Open House” is designed for both students and parents, and include interactive events for future Marauders. There will be opportunities to speak with teachers about our various academic programs, clubs, activities, athletics, and more! Date: Thursday, November 8, 2018 – 6:30pm-9:00pm
