Fine Arts

Francesca Burri for webFrancesca Burri ‘17
Over the summer, senior Francesca Burri attended rigorous art programs at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota and Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia.  While at the month-long pre-college program at Ringling, Francesca had the opportunity to study 3D Computer Animation and Drawing for Animation. These courses focused on 2D digital processes, life study, drawing form and space, 4D motion design, and 3D sculptures. SCAD’s week-long seminar program focused on 2D animation and figure drawing.
Francesca feels that both programs were spectacular and that they helped her confirm for herself that she does want to study computer animation in college.   She is extremely grateful for the opportunity to attend them and thinks both programs helped better prepare her for art school.
